Road construction block splitter

The cutting height of 300 mm enables this blblock splitter to cut large material with great precision.

ALMI’s special "S" series of block cutters are not equipped with fixed blades: they have a top and bottom row of flexibly-mounted hardened metal (widia) cutting teeth.

This design is also used in the AL 33SU, as a result of which the cutting teeth adjust themselves to the surface of the block. The uniform pressure on the fracture line results in a much better cut with less effort: ALMI’s "S" series has no problems even with difficult materials such as natural stone or hard-baked clinkers with an irregular surface.

The upper blade is positioned accurately by a double eccentric shaft transmission. This patented precision technology, which enables an ALMI block splitter to cut with little pressure and keep on cutting, is available solely from ALMI.
