ALMI markets its products via a network of authorised dealers and consequently, does not sell its machines directly to the users. You are welcome to contact ALMI for the address of the sales outlet closest to you.

What is the delivery time?

In principle, all our products are available from stock.

Which grinding rollers are supplied with the machine?

Since the same grinding roller diameters are not required by all users, ALMI does not supply standard rollers with pipe grinders. ALMI offers a roller set with a free roller holder at a reduced price.

What the difference between the AL100U-01 and AL100U-02 pipe grinders?

 

Both pipe grinders are equipped with a lever that is used to bring the material against the grinding belt. The AL100U-02 is also equipped with hand-wheel controls, as used in lathes, to bring the material against the grinding belt.

Which grinding belts are supplies with ALMI pipe grinders?

The standard pipe grinders are supplied with 2 grinding belts, one stiff grinding belt for grinding diameters larger than 35 mm and one grinding belt for grinding diameters smaller than 35 mm.

Which speed should be used to grind stainless steel?

Stainless steel must be turned, milled and drilled at lower speeds than those used for steel. However, this is not applicable to grinding. Stainless steel can be ground at the same speed as stainless steel. Grinding stainless steel at a high speed requires a high-quality grinder. What is the service life of a pipe grinder?

ALMI provides a 3 year warranty as standard on all pipe grinders with an expected service life of at least 5 years. ALMI has spare parts for all machines manufactured in the past 10 years. ALMI guarantees quality with a long service life.

What if I can’t find the pipe-notching size I need?

In addition to its range of standard notching products, ALMI also offers a number of specials sizes that are not often used but which may be exactly what you need. Call us or send us an e-mail to obtain information about diameters and availability.

How is the electric pipe notcher operated?

The electric pipe notchers are switched on and off using a switch mounted on the motor. The notcher is driven at a constant speed. The operation can be seen in the demonstration video available on the products page.
